I took spanish in college 20 years ago and remember very little of it. I am traveling to Guatemala next year and trying to re-learn the basics. I bought several books, flash cards and CD's and so far this book has been the best. It has interactive exercises to keep you interested. I wish I would've bought the CD's from this series...the other ones I bought are slow and boring and I dread listening to them. I feel confident I will be able to carry on basic conversations now. The book also does a good job and sounding out the pronunciation of the words.

I received the book in great condition and found the book to be not only helpful but has a lot of great different sections to help me learn spanish more. Amazon had it for a great price too.

Although this is geared to traveling, it is fun and I'm learning more grammar than my Pimsleur lessons. It has a lot of lessons, well worth the money. It seems to be more Latin America than Spain Spanish, which is better for me.

The book is very easy to read and understand. I have now sent away for the audio of the same so that I can make sure that I am pronouncing the words correctly. The book is great
